Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and client-focused Workplace Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing modern, efficient, and engaging office spaces that reflect the brand identity and operational needs of our corporate clients. You will collaborate closely with clients, project managers, and internal teams to deliver functional yet aesthetic workplace environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients to understand workplace needs, organizational culture, and brand values.
- Translate client briefs into innovative design concepts and layouts.
- Create space plans, zoning, and furniture layouts using AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools.
- Develop mood boards, design presentations, and 3D visualizations.
- Select materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting as per project and budget.
- Collaborate with architects, MEP consultants, and contractors to ensure design execution.
- Coordinate and present design ideas to clients, ensuring timely feedback and revisions.
- Ensure design compliance with building codes, accessibility, and safety regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with trends in workplace design, sustainability, and technology integration.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in workplace/office interior design (corporate/real estate preferred).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign; experience with Revit is a plus.
- Strong visualization skills and ability to communicate design intent through drawings and presentations.
- Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
- Knowledge of ergonomic standards, workspace planning, and design trends.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with real estate developers, coworking spaces, or corporate clients.
- Understanding of LEED or WELL building standards.
- Comfort in presenting to senior-level stakeholders or C-suite executives.
- Familiarity with project budgeting and cost control in design.
